Vibratto Wins PIXELYNX and Spinnin’ Records Remix Competition, Selected by CYPHER NFT Community in Web3 Metaverse

Vibratto, (Brian Epling) a rising star in the electronic music scene, has won PIXELYNX’s music remix competition. PIXELYNX, a music metaverse company founded by Deadmau5 and Richie Hawtin, teamed up with Spinnin’ Records and DJ Joel Corry to launch a three-week crowdsourced remix competition.
The competition, centered around a remix of Joel Corry’s track “Nikes,” gave aspiring DJs a chance to compete for the opportunity to have their work released on Spinnin’ Talent Pool Records. The competition committee voted on their top five favorite submissions, which were announced on April 11.
CYPHER, a virtual music artist living and performing in PIXELYNX’s flagship game ELYNXIR, was part of the selection process. CYPHER is a factionalized NFT that is collectively owned by a group of 20 community members called ASTRAL, who hold voting rights to guide the direction of projects within the PIXELYNX metaverse.
Vibratto was chosen by CYPHER’s group of fractional owners on the ELYNXIR platform, and his winning track will also have an accompanying music video co-created by both the ELYNXIR community and Spinnin’ fans through a series of quests and challenges within PIXELYNX’s Discord to premiere at the IMS in Ibiza Spain, April 26-28.
